Be a part of the enthusiasm at the Oakland County Festival of Flight as a vendor on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the Oakland County International Airport in Waterford, Michigan.

The Oakland County Festival of Flight, formerly known as the Open House & Air Show, is one of the finest family entertainment events in Michigan. The OCIA Air Fair, the 501(c)4 non-profit corporation that hosts the event each year, is managed by a volunteer group of pilots, aviation professionals and general enthusiasts with a special interest and passion for promoting aviation, educating the public on aviation’s rich history, and introducing aviation to future generations.

The group partners with the Civil Air Patrol, Federal Aviation Administration, Michigan Office of Aeronautics, Oakland County Airports, military recruiters, flight schools and universities, aerospace manufacturers, aircraft owners and aviation businesses to ensure a fun and eventful learning experience for the whole family.

The event is free to all guests. The air show lineup includes a variety of aviation performers, from single ship to multi-ship acts, sky divers, and an aviation comedy act in 2024. Oakland County Parks & Recreation offers a special children’s playland and Oakland County Health Department is on hand with a health clinic to share information and provide services. Select food vendors and exhibitors are aligned on the ramp to the delight of our visitors. Airplane and helicopter rides are available at $50 per person.

The Festival of Flight welcomes and offers space to on-airport, off-airport, and not-for-profit vendors to sell goods and/or distribute information. Vendor booth space is limited and provided on a first-come, first-paid basis. Every effort is made to eliminate duplication of service types to ensure a wide variety of vendor offerings to the attendees.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: Operator, covenants that (s)he/it shall maintain liability insurance in the amount of one half million ($500,000) dollars or more and shall in addition, save, defend, indemnify and hold OAKLAND COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, the COUNTY OF OAKLAND, and the OCIA AIR FAIR COMMITTEE harmless from and against any and all loss, cost, liability, damage, expense (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees), penalties, fines and claims whatsoever in connection with loss of life, personal injury and/or damage to property arising from the acts of omissions, of OPERATOR, its agents or employees, incidental to or arising out of his/her/its participation in the OCIA AIR FAIR held at the OAKLAND COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
